1980 Citroen GS Club

Paris built right hand drive (rhd), exported to Zimbabwe.  The original owner who bought the car in the then Rhodesia is still alive. In 1984 the original owner immigrated from Zimbabwe to South Africa and the car currently resides with it’s second owner.

As will be seen from the photo’s the car portrays X2 headlights although it is not a X2.  The car further more has a carburator similar to that of the X2 however the motor is not a X2 motor.  The facts mentioned above indicate peculiarity of this car as it is in its original form as it was when purchased by the original owner. A logical explanation that still needs to be verified by the Conservatorium in Paris leads us to believe that at the end of the production run of the Citroen GS Club excess original part were used to manufacture the last models.

The car has been maintained/restored and boasts with new tyres, new exhaust, new/restored front suspension, as well as repolished original paint work.

This car is one of the best or even the ultimate best in the world. The car has absolutely NO rust.  Driving this car results in a time lamps to the mid 70’s, especially as you switch on the original radio/tape audio.
