This car is a fuel injection fully automatic 3 speed. This car was imported by the French Embassy to South Africa to serve as an embassy vehicle. As a result of South Africa’s dry hot climate and the fact that the car was not fitted with air conditioning it was regarded as impractical, and the embassy sold the car to Mr Steven Le Roux known as South Africa’s Mr Citroen. The car was later fitted with Citroen’s Tropical air-conditioning from the Prestige. The car also has CX mag wheels and only 74 806 miles since new. As this car spend all its life in South Africa on the Highveld it is completely rust free and one of the best examples money can buy.
